For all those who never knew Patrik, here’s the obituary we published right after his death:
Patrik Mueller aka Babyface 29. March 1968 – 29. June 2013
He was a comfortable person to be with and liked everywhere. Some of his best personality traits were his dependability, honesty, patience, helpfulness and sociability.
On account of his positive character he had a good relationship with all friends and acquaintances. Patrik never disturbed or bothered people around him. He was an extremely comfortable friend and acquaintance whom everybody liked to see at all kinds of social events. Because it was in his nature to be more the background guy he never tried to be the center of the party. Patrik had a good, sometimes also very black, but friendly humor, which he skillfully and at exactly the right time for it used much to the perfect amusement of others.
Patrik’s greatest talent was his love of music.
His vast knowledge of music history and the gift to arrange songs to fit any kind of atmosphere was not only Patrik’s passion but also his biggest contribution to the Dongguan society with the effect to enhance and clearly improve our time here in China. That’s how we knew him and that’s how we will keep him in our memories.
